My new place has finally gotten to a point to where I can take pictures and you get a general idea of my new place. I am loving it, think it is is pretty cute, but still have a lot to do! Enjoy!
This is the living room
(notice I am staying hydrated as I enjoy a beer!).
The built in bookshelves are wonderful. I saw those and knew I wanted this place!
The chair in the background is the one I just recovered! I have the burns to prove it...the glue gun and I are not speaking for a while...but the chair turned out great!
I put some books on this so you could see it well. Its an old telephone stand built into the wall. I LOVE it! Not sure what I am going to put on it, but I am sure I will find some fun way of using it.
My very first dining room, with table and chairs and everything :) Can't wait to have you over for dinner!
I call this my European kitchen. Yea, cheesy I know, but with the window and tiny oven, all I am missing is a clothes line out the window and an alley below!
The cupboards are painted metal, very unique, but I love these too! In case you were wondering, these old apartments are US Army barracks from when Fort Russel was located in Moscow, ID. This explains the weird cupboards and some other details you will see below...
The hallway (complete with linen closet, YEA!), which leads from living room into kitchen and behind you is the bedroom.
Just so you know, as someone who is 5'10", I can stretch out in this big ole tub. I have never been able to do that in a bathtub in ANY apartment I have ever lived in!
This bedroom is big enough for a couple sets of bunk beds. Remember, these were old barracks where multiple people lived. But I have it ALL to myself :)
Yes, you are seeing things correctly, those are TWO closets. Count them TWO. Awesome.
